Like your EMaze! I believe the clickers referred to in the chapter are those that students use (not the one that a teacher would use to advance a PP, though you make a good statement about those!) to provide private feedback to teachers as they ask questions during or after direct instruction. The focus on assessment and reflection is an important consideration in the learning process.
